Dr. Cheryl Rosenfeld, the primary investigator on the study “BPA Can Disrupt Sexual Function in Turtles, Could be a Warning for Environmental Health”, talked with Big Blend Radio about how the team determined that BPA can disrupt sexual function in painted turtles, causing males to develop female sex organs. DAPL is slated to cross Lakota Treaty Territory at the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation where it would be laid underneath the Missouri River, the longest river on the continent.
